Christopher H. Sheldon, Owner & President
Chris began diving 1988 at the age of 19 when he was invited by friends to become recreationally certified. Diving quickly became his passion and Chris became an recreational SCUBA instructor in 1990, after completing his Instructor Development Course with diving legend Ralph Erickson, the co-founder of PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors)

Rising through the ranks in the recreational side of diving all the way to Master Instructor, Chris opened his first recreational dive center in 1997. Soon after, Chris began receiving calls at his dive center from people looking for more specialized, commercial work. He began to train and work as a commercial diver in addition to running a recreational dive center until he decided to go into commercial diving work full time in 1998.

To date, Chris has helped to professionalize Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting (DASH) and aquatic invasive weed control in many ways, from helping to formulate state standards for such work, to creating and patenting his own DASH equipment. While these advances have made AE Commercial Diving Services, INC. an industry leader, Chris and his team also strive to use their knowledge, skill, and expertise to better server their clients in being ethical stewards of the bodies of water they care for.

Bennett Sheldon, Dive Site Supervisor

Bennett has been around diving and boating his whole life and began studying for his diver certification long before he was old enough to undergo his Open Water Certification training. Finally at the age of 11, Bennett earned his Open Water Certification, and began to dive recreationally. At 14, Bennett began working at AE Commercial Diving Services, INC.

Bennett has been a crucial part of AE Commercial Diving Services, INC.'s establishment and success and is an accomplished hydraulic dredge operator in addition to dive supervisor. With over 19 years of dive experience, numerous diving certifications, and literally thousands of hours spent working underwater, Bennett has accomplished more than most divers twice his age.

Bennett's hard work ethic and sharp thinking have led to advances in both safety and operations at AE Commercial Diving Services, INC. Thoroughness and attention to detail are just two of Bennett's strengths that help make each contract or project a success.

Wesley Sheldon, Dive Site Supervisor

Wesley's interest in diving began as a young teenager. His love for nature and a natural spirit of adventure made diving a natural fit, and he quickly excelled in his dive training. Wesley began working with AE Commercial Diving Services, INC. at the age of 16 and earned several recreational certifications before graduating high school.

After graduation, Wesley set his sites on commercial dive school and was accepted to the prestigious CDA Technical Institute, (formally the Commercial Diving Academy), in Jacksonville, Florida. Graduating with his Air/Mixed Gas Commercial Diver's Certificate in 2009, Wesley returned to AE Commercial Diving Services with over 871 combined hours of practical experience and classroom work in subject areas from Dive Physics to Underwater Construction Techniques.
